See the Magic Through Their Eyes

Emily Johnson

"My son is obsessed with anything that has buttons or switches—our TV remote, the thermostat, light switches. This gives him a safe outlet for that obsession, and I've noticed he's way more focused when he plays with it compared to his other toys. The lights are bright but not harsh."

Jessica Garcia

"Skeptical at first, but our occupational therapist actually recommended something like this for hand strength and coordination. The different switches really do require different skills. Solid construction too”

"Bought this for our 18-month-old twins who were driving us crazy with every switch in the house. Game changer for car trips. They're quiet, engaged, and actually learning”

"This is the only thing that's successfully replaced my daughter's iPad time during my work calls. She'll sit next to me flipping switches for 30+ minutes while I'm on Zoom.”

Safety & Quality assured

It takes two AAA batteries (not included), which are safely hidden under the cover. Only an adult can unscrew the lid and replace them, so there’s no worry about your toddler getting to them.

Compared to other busyboard manufacturing processes on the market, our sensory board is cut in one piece from logs rather than veneer-bonded. Each baby activity board is hand-ground to provide a smooth surface.

The busy board has no sharp edges or little components that fall off easily. You don't have to be concerned about your child damaging it.

Tested, Trusted & Parent Approved

89% noticed their child attempting light switches and buttons around the home less frequently after consistent board use*

91% reported their toddler showed increased persistence when problem-solving with other toys and activities*

87% observed longer periods of focused, independent play without requesting screens or constant redirection*

*Based on a parent survey of 150 toddlers aged 12-36 months who used the LED Switch Discovery Board daily for 30 days.

Getting Started With Discovery

With these simple steps, your toddler can begin exploring cause-effect learning and building executive function through independent switch play.

Power Up

Unscrew the battery compartment on the back of the board and insert 2 AA batteries (not included). Secure the cover tightly— only adults should access this compartment.

Introduce the Board

Place the board in front of your child and demonstrate one or two switches. Show them how flipping a switch turns on a light. Then step back and let their curiosity take over.

Allow Independent Exploration

Let your toddler discover which switch controls which light at their own pace. Resist the urge to "teach"—the learning happens through trial, error, and discovery.

Extend the Learning

After they've mastered the switches, introduce challenges: "Can you turn on the blue light?" or "How many switches can you flip before the lights go out?" This builds problem-solving and language skills.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to teach my child how to use it?

No. In fact, the developmental benefits come from self-directed discovery. Simply demonstrate one or two switches, then step back. Their natural curiosity drives the exploration, and the trial-and-error process is where executive function development happens.

How long will my child play with this at one time?

What if my child isn't interested in it?

Can it travel on airplanes?

Is it really durable enough for toddler use?

How do I clean it?

Does it make noise?

Will my child outgrow this quickly?
